AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! ITS OVER!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
i'm so upset...its already over, and for the next few days, i have to go to school...freaking isn't it?! URGHH!!

i'm sooooo glad i went for this exchange program...even though it ended quick =[..
well, here goes...its gonna be LONG!! =] PLUS!! i'm not that...my brain...not working now...dakara...i will add in alot of things if i miss out... soo...

DAY 1 [8th dec 2008]:
Yesterday @ 9.30, i was on my way to the airport, but before that, we went to my dad's place there the coffee shop to eat dinner. we ; my mum, bro, me,cousin ivan, uncle patrick,ivan's mum , aunty janette and aunty irene ate zi char.

So i was chasing them to eat faster because i was super duper excited and Anxious..

i had to do manny last min checks since i was very very anxious and super scared and CRAZED!! YAY!! WAHAHHA!! =]

We were being chartered around by a bus, stopped at quite a few stops and man xin and i HEARD NEWS COLOR ALBUM THE SONGS!! Massu, koyama and yamapi the song...the super long one...0.o FLAILED!! [jadey nee-chan's word wahaha xD] was also super cold so we had to wear many many layers.

went up to mount ASO & some of us [mainly guys] threw snowballs at each other!! LOL?! guess what, even the teachers played!! hahaha!!

we traveled for quite some time & then we FINALLY reached Miike youth centre. about 6-7...SUUPER dark 0.o...

had a briefing at a room and was introduced to our dorms. we were given bunkbeds in our dorms but we slept on the tatami mats instead, COOLLL!! WAhahhaha XD! =] members of my group, Christine, rachael, Me and cherie!! =] Wahhhaha XD

i was practically frantic when it was time for bath. i forgot my swimsuit!! can you guess what happen!?! i will NOT mention anymore... reason being, bathing with everybody for the first time CAN be FREAKY !!

DAY 2 [9th dec 2008]:
Ohh.. we released alot of water today... you'll see why =]

Well, we woke up...[omg, i woke up the moment i heard the starting of MOLA!! can't have anyone who doesn't know NEWS to be exposed to the lyrics can i? *Smirk*]

we were all very exciterd about the kimono experience & All. All of us ate breakfast by 8 plus and went up to behind Miike youth centre and learnt how to make a fire!! ANCIENT japanese style!! Soo cool!! haha XD the instructer, told all of us [through the translator ] that those who can start a fire is a human while those who can't are MONKEYS! So funnnnyy! XD he was like, trying to say "monkey" and "human" in English!! LOL!

one of my seniors, no matter how hard he tried, Still couldn't get the fire started!! LOL!! the instructor was like..."Monkey" "monkey"!! LOL!! but we upgraded him from "Monkey" to "GORILLA"!! HAhah!! he was trying so hard!! LOl!

After that, we went up to the peak and there, we could see Miike Lake, ourr original plan to tour there...we took shots and went back to the youth centre to get lunch before going on to KIMONO + TEA CEREMONY!!

i put on a red one and i was the second one to get dressed, the waist thingy was sort of the worse becasue...u'll have to put ALOT of straps thingy...LOL!! Troublesome but i loved it!! HAhah!!. Next i did my hair and put on a Little make up...wahahha XD...

after which, ms yew was practically "SELLING" the girls!! LOl!! maybe only the first 2, which was me and rachael, who got dressed first...the guys were all done. not surprised since they only had 3 LAYERS!! we had to tie many things around our waist!!

the first group of us went in to the tea ceremony place first... kneeled down and sat traditional way. i THOUGHT i could hold on til the end, but i realised, i wasn't even able to STAND!! 0.o Shocking isn't it?! HAR HAR!!

after that, we had taken photos and stuff...took quite a fair bit of them...hope i'll receive them... After that, we had to take them out...so sad!! helped cleared the place and then i think, we left for dinner. of which after that, when we sid goodbyes, WE CRIED!! imagine...us...crying!! FOR ONLY A SHORT 3 HOURS!! . . . i did too =.= got influenced / dragged by >>> [THANK YOU CHERYL!!]*sacarstic*

During bathe today was fun!! everything went well and the joke about cup noodles surfaced!! WAHAHAHHA!! Also, this time, sleeping time was special, All of us bunk into a room and slept for the night. We had to discuss who we want to choose for the guy who demonstrated good qualities or something like that, Jia Jun got chosen and we performed a lil something for him. we made he's hair stand and when we put on the cap, all of us went "Kawaiii neee~!" HAHahaha!! xD

DAY 3 [10th dec 2008]:
we all went to the SENIOR CITIZENS HOME today, didn't realised that we were ON TV!! OMG!! On NHK i think...AND the newspapers!! Amazing na...!! we spent about an hour and more, of which we performed, learned origami from the senior citizens and after which...they sang song of us and stuff...so touching...yupp u guessed it...cried..=]

i dont think i did but my eyes WERE watery...haha XD =] i had alot alot of fun =] After that, we went to AYA town, of which my host wanted to bring me there but since it was in the iteniry[sp], it was dropped...walked around, see see look look, found the things super ex, so i deceded to buy only some and soon, we were on the road.

went to pick mandarin oranges after that. i shared with cheryl,she hold plastic bag i pluck...with clippers...or wadeva u call tha snap snap scissors thingy.. bought 3 and stuff...then we left. FOR OUR CONVEYER BELT SUSHIII!! =]

i was self de-moralising myself in the bus, so i was...kinda emo and down when i went into the sushi place. its called "KAITEN SUSHI" !! one of the customers eating was like. "HEY!! i saw u guys on terebi!!" or somethin like that!! we all were shocked and all!! given 2000yen each to spend and if we have some left, WE COULD KEEP IT AS SHOPPING MONEYY!! WAHHH!!! yeah, we changed to a seat like sakae sushi that kind and i cried. not bawled, just SHED tears...what made me happy again was PUDDINg joke!!! OMG!! cherie ordered pudding when she saw vic handing me a pudding to cheer me up. she went all. "THIS is so WOBBLY!!" and she shook it!! she took 2 of them and shook it!! OMg...vic video-cam it and she was like "Shake it shake it!!" HAR HAR!! Funny!! =] enjoy =] xD



went back to miike youth centre, had fun in the bath with Cup noodles and pudding and stuff, breifing then we had to packed up and stuff and then, we had to go off to sleep. it was not exactly our last day there but...it was closing in.

DAY 4 [11th DEC 2008]:
We all got up early from Miike youth centre today and got ready, ate breakfast and stuff and off we go, to the horse-riding place...haha !!its called the kirishima-makizonocho horse riding stable!! So cool!! we all took pics of horses and WITH horses. I rode on SmallFlyer, a black nice horse and i felt TALLER!! Wahahhah XD!! i spoke a little bit in japanese and stuff...haha XD...

next we left for Ice-skating. but before that, we ate lunch at a hotel near the ice-skating rink. i got onto my skates and STUMBLED!! yes STUMBLED into the rink...took me a good 10 mins b4 i even stepped onto the ice!! LOL!! practiced with a chair around the rink, thought it looked easy, well think again!! And think hard!! xD

then we went shopping!! At AEON~~! =] Wahhh....though was kinda short...we had to go back to miike youth centre, bathed, practiced our dance and off we go...to sleep!! ahha xD we had to pack EVERYTHING in that day and yupp, we're no longer staying at miike anymore =[...

DAY 5 [12th DEC 2008]:
we woke up super early today and left miike youth centre. had closing ceremony and stuff and soon, we're off...AHHH!! Even NOW i'm still feeling the jitters...I MISS JAPANNN!!! ok back to topic =] we left off for NICHIDAI HIGH SCHOOL. for us hildans...for Riverside, they went to another school, was a junior high school. they got off first and then, was our turn. we were welcomed and all, then had a performance by 4 girls, playing the saxaphone...SOOO COOLL!! then we were brought around the school and stuff, and when we came back , we were LATE [awww]!! sad huh...got lectured and stuff, then we took off in our 2 groups, went to calligraphy next and then EngRish Lesson =]

brought around the school somemore and stuff...was sooo coool. i love their uniform..!! when i get the pics, i might post them here =] after all that, went to Judo and Kendo...judo was more of a sport which LOOKED like it'll hurt, [with ppl flipping another..on the GROUND!!] AND kendo was serious...their shrills shocked me and my pals...were kinda scary...left and took our bags then i went to see my host!!

My host's a half canadian half japanese!! kakoii deshou!! =] wahhh...i was finally able to meet them!! Host Emi kurogi and her mother kazumi kurogi!! was Cho excited and i went over to say hi. we left and kazumi-san drove us home, but went to a store to pick up something and a supermarket to get some drinks for me. Emi-chan wanted ice-cream so we bought...but in the end i left it at their house so i didn't get to eat...haha xD we ate Nabe. which is japanese for Steambot / hotpot. ALOT of ingredients, and they even had chicken, yoghurt and stuff... Wahhh!!! i'm soooo missing themm XD!!

i gave them presents and they were all very happy!! seeing their smiles on their faces really brings me joy!! i slept in a futon which the grandmother prepared [ARIGATO!!] And we all slept together in the same room.

DAY 6 [13th DEC 2008]:
I woke up with Emi-chan today, ate okonomiyaki for breakfast and soon after, Emi-chan showed me her picture albums and soon, we're off. TO SHOPPING!! YAY!! XD! i remember telling them that i love NEWS over the e-mail and i also told them that i wanted to go get News Album and i suggested tsutaya and soon after, i was already in the car, on my way there!!

i was so excited!! getting my very own NEWS album!! KKKKKYYYYAHHHHH!! Can't imagine!! XD!! haha!! i ate viking with them!! Viking is actually Buffet, the japanese call them VIKINGS!! haha!! KAkoii!!.. =] i was brought around shopping malls, then finally at AEON to take neoprints and play game!! wahahha XD did a little shoppping and soon we're back home. went to eat okonomiyaki also! it was...CHO oishi!! =]

We talk alot in the car, my host gave me an early christmas present which we shopped for together in the afternoon. they also gave me chopsticks, japanese traditional chopsticks for my family...very touched...we actually wanted to watch a movie together but there wasn't anything to watch so, we went back. prepared to sleep and such and soon, i was off to dreamland.

DAY 7 [14th DEC 2008]:
i woke up later today, ate a westernised breakfast with them today, was so full xD!! we left the house earlier today cause we have to be at Cottage Himuka by 3, earlier then meeting time to prepare. we went into lawson!! took some pics and after that, we left to the beach and i'll post some pics about it later on.

we went to eat lunch but i was telling them that i was kinda full since the morning's breakfast was really filling. ate a little bit and off we go to cottage himuka. but before that, we stopped by a Super high "cRass" hotel and see the view of it. went up to the 42th floor and WOW the view was pretty, took pics and yeah, i'll post some later on.

went to cottage himuka and i settle down. SCREAMED for joy and i went around introducing Everyone. kazumi-san helped me to put my luggage in the room and they followed me back into the dorm. i saw Emi writing something and asked her what it was, she replied that it was a memo pad so i let it go.

the closing ceremony started, there was speech, then we interacted with each other and soon, we're on stage performing. i loved the dance because i feel everybody had grow to be stronger and stuff...yeah...we had alot of fun and laughed at out mistakes!! Haha!!

it was finally the time, for our last goodbyes =[!! i looked for my host and went to them, i said the first "Arigato gozaimasu" and i started crying. I saw them crying and said, "Don't cey don't cry" and all i did was cry.HAha!! it was very touching and i really really loved them and they were very generous to me. i couldn't stop saying Arigato to them and when i was about to stop crying, Cherie came over and said something about her leaving for IP. I cried again. i cried and laughed at the same time!! omg!! Haha!! my voice went all high high and HAHA!! couldn't stop laughing!! LOl XD i was apparently the one who got everybody crying together with me!! haha XD so bad hor XD

after all the sad sad part, we went back to our dorms and changed and packed and left for Mr yeoh's room. we waited for quite awhile since they were in a meeting. we had a "party" in mr yeoh's room which had a lil drama before that but not worth mentioning. we all imitated each other and Deon was asked to imitate the 3 teachers. HAHA!! So funny!! talked and laugh alot and shared stories and such then went back to our rooms.

i started packing and i was feeling quite emo. Reason being, i felt pissed. Not worth mentioning but those who were present knew. Well, since its over, let it pass...

we had an "after party" of which i went to sleep shortly after. i was already half-dead and was in my subconcious state!! hahaha!! so i went back into the room. i remembered the time. it was 3 when i slept. yes...3am!! shocking isn't it?! the others stayed up all night playing truth or dare...i think...and vic fell asleep in the BATH!! we were woken by the guys. I think it was Marcus and Deon if i'm not wrong. came and shouted. "Ohaiyou" in to cherie's ear but to no avail, she continued sleeping. Haha! waking her up was hilarious! xD

DAY 8 [15th DEC 2008]:
Well, it was closing in. today we woke up early, ate breakfast and all, then we went up onto the bus and slept for 3 hours [me] before we reache Nagasaki. everybody was so tired, we all slept in the bus together!! 3 hours worth of sleep. haha xD!! we reached Nagasaki Bomb meseum and went into a lecture hall, all tried to stay awake but ended up nodding away...haha XD!! after that, toured around the meseum and all then we went to the Peace park, before proceding to shop at some district and some had their potraights done in manga style. So cool!! =] haha xD, bought stuff then off we went, for Dinner!! before we went to skycourt hakata.

at dinner, same thing happen, but this time, i was more emo then anyond else. i was not talking, i wasn't responding, and i have no idea why. but, apart from that, i love the food, though i never showed any expression.haha xD

when we reached skycourt hakata, i met a terrible incident. the entrance, was this circular thingy...that yeah...circular thingy...i thought there were spacing there so i left my hand they and "BANG!" my hand kena...HAha!! xD pain sia. then something went wrong, i became really sick and my vision blurred...haha!! scary rite!! haha!! last day somemore XD!!

our room was SO SMALL!! Cannto even fit a fishtank!! LOL!! bad example but yeah!! so small!! so many ppl complain...haissh...i was left alone sleeping for the night because Cherie went over to the other room, and everyone thought vic was missing!! haha!! xD! so many funny things happen!! LOl!! we were all having a party in johanna and jovy's room of which after awhile i went back, then i fell asleep..haha!!

DAY 9[16th DEC 2008]:
Its the last day in JAPAN, i spent time staring out of the bus to get another look of Fukuoka before leaving, i miss it alot!! after which, we were on the plane heading back to singapore...
